More than twenty years ago, in 1980, a workshop making wooden picture frames in the Nonthaburi province of Thailand, formed a family company named Saksiam Industry. The workshop was named after their earlier authentic designs using teak wood, Mai Sak in Thai language.

At the time, a father and his two sons operated the workshop, with an assistance of a few employees. The production was based on small, handmade picture frames and sold to the domestic market.

As it grew in expertise, Saksiam Industry moved more sales overseas, first in 1986 to the USA and then to Japan.

The frames produced were inspired by their customers' enthusiasm which allowed the development of
Other wooden products such as ornamental desk items,
Classical pieces such as wooden picture album, picture boxes
Memorial boxes for holding precious items and other decorative pieces complete the choices on offer.

With the availability of modern technology, Saksiam Industy currently uses a CNC router, laser engraving and automatic paints spraying to ensure quality products, while retaining the beauty and uniqueness of the natural wood.

In addition to modern technology, the company aprreciates the need for the ethical use of timber and the preservation of natural forests, production has been designed to use wood grown and farmed specifically for the industry.

Saksiam Industyr shares this responsibility with its customers by using only government-certified wood imported to the factory for its customers in the USA, Canada and Germany
